Overview of Clara Luna Volunteer Program
Clara Luna has many different aspects to
it's volunteer program. I volunteered
with Clara Luna from in November and December 2012. Here's a short list of some of the highlights
of my volunteer time:
•
Teaching and Singing “Gangnum
Style” to the kids in the after school program.
•
Playing relay races on the
beach with the after school kids.
•
A Volunteer homemade Pizza
Party followed by game night.
•
Writing and Performing a skit,
in Spanish, about the “The best Magician in the World ...well at least Puerto
Lopez.”
•
Going to Isla de la Plata with
other volunteers.
•
Practicing tongue twisters, in
Spanish and English, with my advanced English class.
These are just a few of the many activities
that I participated in at Clara Luna. It
was a great experience.
